Abstract:
- Through the use of real time data the learner will use satellite
imagery of United States weather patterns and compare them to
the overall climate of that same region.

Outcome:
- This investigation allows the learner to make distinctions between
local weather and the same region's climate. The learner then
makes their own predictins of how a climate could change over
time.
- The learner will:
- be able to decipher time lapse weather maps.
- predict how the regions conditions very according to temperature
and precipitation fluctuations through the use of graphs.
- construct a cloud verse cloud temperature graph.
- analyze weather anomalies.

- Suggested Grade Level & Duration:
- Grades 9-12; 2 to 3 fifty-minute periods.
